NexGard (afoxolaner) chews protect against fleas and ticks, and prevents Lyme infections as a direct result of killing black-legged ticks. HEARTGARD Plus prevents heartworm disease, and treats and controls hookworms and roundworms. Consider combining both products to protect dogs from most common parasitic threats.

You can also use NexGard PLUS (afoxolaner, moxidectin and pyrantel chewable tablets) if you’d prefer an all-in-one chew to kill fleas, ticks and protect against heartworm disease, roundworms and hookworms.

Following the use of HEARTGARD Plus in dogs, digestive and neurologic side effects and itching have been reported. Safe for puppies 6 weeks of age or older with no weight restrictions.
